Ho Rang Yi is pleased to offer two main classes for hopeful martial artists. Come on in during any one of these times and watch the classes and the atmosphere. Any one of our instructors or high ranks can answer your questions. We have many families who take our classes, e.g parent/child, brother/sister. HRY is a great family activity.
Mondays/Wednesdays
5:15-6:15 beginners
5:15-7 p.m. colored belts
6:15-7 p.m. advanced rank only
Tuesdays/Thursdays
5:30-6:30 p.m. beginners
5:30-6:30 p.m. special class for 6- to 9-year olds
5:30-7 p.m. colored belts
Additional class info: Cost for the Tuesday/Thursday class OR the Monday/Wednesday class is $36/month for Puyallup residents or $46/month for non-residents. Prices are fixed by the Puyallup Rec Center and are subject to change without notice. The Rec Center can be reached at 253.841.5457. Come on in the first Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday of each month, when each new session begins. New students can simply wear black sweats and a white T-shirt, until they make the decision that they would like to continue with TKD.
Testing info and rank: Tests are scheduled approximately 2-3 times a year and cost $25 a test. If a student does not pass, he or she can re-take their test without a fee. Our ranking system is white, blue, orange, green, brown, red, black, with half-steps in-between each color except red. Ho Rang Yi does not automatically honor rank from other systems or classes. Students begin at a rank given at instructors' discretion and after a case-by-case evaluation.

May 30 - Belt promotions, 5:30 p.m., Centennial Room, Puyallup Rec Center; we'll be going out to dinner afterward.
